Santa Maria's Downtown Fridays farmers' market is scheduled to kick off on Friday, July 3, and continue through Friday, October 30.
The end date for the event could also be pushed back into November, according to organizers.
The event typically starts its season in late March but it was postponed because of the coronavirus pandemic.
Organizers say they are working with the city and the county on social distancing and setup of the event to make sure it is a safe environment for the public.
