A Santa Maria pumpkin patch has closed sooner than expected.
“The Patch Santa Maria” was expected to remain open until the end of the month but has already closed after city officials say they ran out of pumpkins.
Volunteers got to work in June setting up the patch.
While there was no corn maze this year, agricultural exhibits were added.
There are still many other pumpkin patches in the area that remain open.
