One lane of Highway 101 in Santa Maria remained closed as of 7:15 a.m. Tuesday due to a semi-truck crash.
It happened in the southbound lanes just north of Alvin shortly before 6 a.m.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the semi hit a wall and caught on fire.
CHP is reporting major injuries associated with the crash.
