The Sensorio art exhibit in Paso Robles is temporarily closing its doors because of the state’s new covid-19 restrictions.
The world acclaimed artist, Bruce Munro, hopes to reopen the exhibit in January.
“We are saddened to announce the sudden closure of Sensorio,” said Sensorio Executive Director Paul Haught. “However, the safety of our visitors and team members is our first and foremost concern. We are excited to announce this latest extension through June 2021 and look forward to welcoming guests once again.”
Ticket holders will receive an email regarding refunds and rescheduling.
The exhibit is designed to be an immersive experience in an array of more than 58,800 stemmed spheres lit by fiber optics.
The site has attracted international media attention and thousands of visitors from all over the world.
Sensorio is located off Highway 46 East.
