UPDATE (5:30 p.m.) - Officials have revised their estimate of sewage spilled to 25,104 gallons.
Warning signs have also been placed at the beach where San Luis Obispo Creek meets the ocean.

(1:49 p.m.) - San Luis Obispo County Public Health officials say 3,500 gallons of sewage was released from a blocked sewer main in San Luis Obispo.
The leak started late Sunday night and reportedly continued until about 10 a.m. on Monday when the blockage was repaired and the area was cleaned.
It happened in the 1100 block of Orcutt Road.
Health officials say some of the sewage leaked into San Luis Obispo Creek and they are urging people to stay out of the creek.
Signs have been posted in areas that were impacted by the spill.
