UPDATE: Santa Maria Police say they have made an arrest in a deadly shooting that took place Saturday night.
Police responded to reports of a shooting in front of the Louie B's bar on 213 East Main Street. When officers arrived they found a man on the ground suffering from gunshot wounds. He was transported to the hospital where he later died.
Police say when they arrived on scene they noticed an adult male sitting on the sidewalk a short distance away from the victim. Officers questioned him and found cause to arrest him for drug-related violations. Upon further investigation, police identified the man as Ron Tutay, 27, of Washington, and found evidence on scene leading to his arrest for murder.

The identity of the man killed has not been released yet. This is the fourth homicide in the City of Santa Maria this year.

As of 11 p.m., first responders remain on scene investigating the incident.
Police say at least one person was injured and no arrests have been made at this time.
