The City of Santa Maria is inviting residents and businesses to sign up for emergency alerts.
The city is using the Everbridge program to alert residents of critical information in the event of a police or fire emergency, earthquake, shelter-in-place situation, or evacuation.
You can register your home phone number, email address, and up to three cell phones and specify how you'd like to receive alert messages.
The Everbridge Mobile App is available on iOS and Android.
