California Highway Patrol responded to a single-vehicle crash Friday morning.
According to CHP, the crash happened at around 4:11 p.m. Thursday on Highway 1 near Rancho Maria Golf Course.
A vehicle drove into a power pole causing power lines to fall over Highway 1, east of Santa Maria.
PG&E is responding to the scene to work on the pole. According to PG&E's website, 19 customers are without power in the area as of Friday morning.
As of 12 a.m. Friday, the highway will be closed for approximately four to five hours, according to CHP.
It is unknown at this time if there were any injuries due to the crash.
