The San Luis Obispo City Council on Tuesday night voted 5-0 to approve a ban on the sale of e-cigarette products.
This was the second reading of the ordinance. The ban will go into effect in 90 days.
The ban includes the sales of all e-cigarette products, including flavored vape products within city limits.
Any products approved by the FDA would not be subject to the ban.
The City of San Luis Obispo joins Arroyo Grande and the county in banning the sales of all e-cigarette products.
