The San Luis Obispo County Farm Bureau is making this Thanksgiving a little brighter for those who otherwise would not have a traditional holiday meal.
Local farmers donated turkeys and fresh produce to the San Luis Obispo County Food Bank Friday morning at the San Luis Obispo Food 4 Less.
The donation is in memory of longtime Farm Bureau board member, Hugh Pitts who passed away in 2018.
Pitts would donate a pallet of turkeys to the Food Bank every year, and on Friday that tradition was brought back in his honor.
