San Luis Obispo County emergency officials on Thursday issued a local emergency proclamation due to the effects of last week's winter storm.

Among the effects of the storm include flooded andpothole-riddled roads and debris flow from the Avile Fire burn scars.
The County says this proclamations streamlines the approval for additional help and resources to resolve the issue.
Right now, the County is putting together a report of damage throughout the area. Residents can submit a report online.
On Jan.29, Governor Gavin Newsom issued an emergency proclamation for Monterey and San Luis Obispo counties.
