San Luis Obispo County leaders held a town hall meeting in Los Osos Wednesday night that focused on mental health services.
The meeting consisted of an overview of the Mental Health Services Act.
Some of the programs that fall under the Mental Health Services Act include school-based mental health early intervention programs, veterans programs and homelessness outreach.
"The Mental Health Services Act allows us to be in all parts of the county serving vulnerable populations, getting services at earlier access points, and these meeting allow us to get the information out there and also get feedback from the community on what they would like to see, as well," County Behavioral Health Division Manager Frank Warren said.
The meeting also highlighted information on current planning and funding for all of the mental health programs.
