A San Luis Obispo Italian restaurant is closing its doors after 31 years in business.
Upper Crust, located off Los Osos Valley Road, is closing Saturday night.
The restaurant's owners say they're proud of their establishment's reputation in the community but business has slowed and they say it's time to go.
"I'm 78-years-old, so I'm ready to retire," said owner Ron Tyni. "So it's just a matter of economics and getting a little bit old for this business. This is a young man's business, let me tell you."
The owner says he's been in the restaurant business for 48 years and is looking forward to retirement.
