ORIGINAL STORY (Fri. February 26th, 11:44 a.m.) - San Luis Obispo police are asking for the public's help in locating Terri Katz, who was reporting missing by family Thursday evening.

Family members told police Katz showed up for an appointment in San Luis Obispo at 10 a.m. Thursday, but she never made it home to Morro Bay.

Katz's family says she suffers from short term memory loss.

Her car was called in as a possible DUI driver at 6:30 p.m. Thursday heading north on Highway 1, near the California Men's Colony.

Officers from the San Luis Obispo Police Department, as well as CHP, responded but couldn't find her.

Investigators do not believe Katz was under the influence, but she may have been suffering from a medical emergency.

The police department is asking for the public's help locating Katz and her car.

Her car is a sky blue 1990 Geo Prism, and the license plate number is 2UAT290.
