UPDATE: SLO police arrest man who they say threatened officers with Molotov cocktail

UPDATE (5:58 p.m.) - San Luis Obispo police arrested a man who was wanted for threatening officers.

Police say a citizen spotted Bradford Jungers in the 200 block of Santa Rosa St. at about 3 p.m. on Monday and called police.

Officers responded and took Jungers into custody.

He was booked into San Luis Obispo County Jail with bail set at $300,000.

(10:55 a.m.) - San Luis Obispo police are looking for a man who they say threatened officers Sunday night.

Police say officers were called to an apartment complex in the 1000 block of Foothill Blvd. at about 8:20 p.m. for reports that a man was banging on windows and trying to break into apartments.

When officers arrived, they say the man brandished a knife and threatened them, then barricaded himself in an apartment. Police say the man threatened to throw a Molotov cocktail at the officers.

Police called in the SWAT Team but say the man escaped through a back door before they arrived.

Police have identified the suspect as Bradford William Jungers, 35. A warrant has reportedly been issued for his arrest. He's wanted on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon on a peace officer and possession of a destructive device.
