San Luis Obispo’s El Capitan Pedestrian Bridge, located in the Poinsettia Street neighborhood, is back after being destroyed by a large eucalyptus tree during a storm almost five years ago.

The 33-foot steel, wood-decked bridge cost San Luis Obispo $90,000 and replaces the old wood bridge that was built in the late 1990s.
