The San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Office is looking for a missing 12-year-old.

Sheriff's officials say Anthony Jauregui was last seen walking away from his home in the Jardine area of rural Paso Robles at approximately 7 p.m. on Monday.

Deputies began searching for him Monday night and a Reverse-911 call went out to residents in the area. The Sheriff's Search and Rescue Team also joined the search.

Sheriff's officials say Jauregui has no money or a phone and while he is considered a runaway, he is also considered to be at-risk because of his age.

Anthony is described as 5'5" tall and 120 pounds with short black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black sweater, blue jeans, and white Vans sneakers.

Anyone with information about Jauregui's whereabouts is asked to contact the sheriff's office at (805) 781-4550.
