SLO Transit is offering free bus rides in support of Small Business Saturday.
Free bus service will be available all day on Saturday, Nov. 30.
The goal is to alleviate demand for parking and encourage shoppers to visit the city's local businesses.
SLO Transit will be operating on a weekend schedule on Saturday with routes 1A, 2A, 3A, and 4A in service from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The Downtown San Luis Obispo Holiday Trolley will also begin operation on November 29, offering free rides on a loop through downtown. The trolley will run Fridays through Sundays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. through December 22.
