Firefighters were responding to reports of a vegetation fire in the Santa Ynez Valley Tuesday afternoon.
The Santa Barbara County Fire Department said an investigator was en route to the fire, which broke out at 12:36 p.m. on Dove Meadow Road and San Mill Road.
The fire was reported to be less than an acre in size and burning in light brush with a low rate of spread.
Two engines and one hand crews were working to put out the fire.
