A small vegetation fire that broke out Friday on Highway 101 in Paso Robles was quickly contained.
Paso Robles Fire personnel say the 20x60-foot spot fire prompted the closure of the offramp to Highway 46 East near Black Oak Drive.
While fire officials received reports that someone was smoking in the area before the fire broke out, the cause remains under investigation.
Fire crews remained on scene as of 12:30 p.m.
