The doors to the Santa Maria Police Department front lobby are closed until further notice.
Police made the announcement Friday saying the decision to close the lobby was made to limit the exposure to the coronavirus.
Officers say closing the front lobby will have a minimal impact on their ability to provide policing services to the community.
