On Dec. 21, the city of Grover Beach is hosting a free Snow Day event for the community.
From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., people can head to Ramona Garden Park, 993 Ramona Avenue, for holiday fun and a last visit with Santa Claus.
There will be a snow slide and play area, live music from the band "Critical Mass," local artists and more. Hot dogs will be provided by the Five Cities Optimists Club; free popcorn and hot chocolate will be provided to guests as well.
Kids will have an opportunity to get their face painted and make a craft that they can take home.
