More than 200 high school seniors in Santa Maria got a free lunch Wednesday and for some of them, it came with a job interview on the side.
Cool Hand Luke's restaurant served up lunch for the Pioneer Valley High School college prep students.
They also conducted interviews with students who are interested in jobs in the culinary arts.
"When I heard about it, I was like 'wow, that's really cool. Well, first they are offering jobs and they are offering to feed our seniors, so that's really cool," said PVHS senior Maria Uribe.
The restaurant already employs several Pioneer Valley students.
