Lompoc's 'Southside Coffee' is under new ownership and getting set to reopen its doors after being closed for nearly five months.
Halle Bedford dyer bought the businesses after working there for six years until the cafe closed in April.
The new owner says she loves the community feel of the place.
"Southside has been here for 26 years now and so I know that they didn’t want to get rid of like their original feel and I feel like I've really kept that kind of feel in here. It’s very calming and cozy and I’m just really excited to see everyone again,” said Dyer.
The coffee will remain the same, but the kitchen is being upgraded for the new menu.
Seating is limited to outside.
Southside Coffee is set to open this coming Sunday.
