A student was hit by a car while walking to school in Lompoc Thursday morning, police tell KSBY News.
It happened around 8 a.m. on the 500 block of West College near Lompoc High School.
Police say minor injuries were reported but add that the student was taken to the hospital as a precautionary measure.
The incident remains under investigation. No arrests were made.
