A surfer was successfully rescued from Hazard Canyon Beach on Saturday morning.
Crews with Cal Fire San Luis Obispo County responded to the report of a surf rescue at approximately 5:52 a.m. Officials say by 7:26 a.m., the surfer had been safely extricated from the beach and was taken to the hospital for treatment.
