UPDATE (6:16 p.m.) - Grover Beach police have made an arrest in connection with the discovery of a suspicious package Tuesday morning.
Aaron Stockwell, 48, was arrested Tuesday afternoon in Oceano on suspicion of criminal threats, stalking, domestic violence, and violation of a court order.
Investigators say the package was found on a vehicle in the 1200 block of Seabright Ave. after police received a call from a victim who reported being threatened.
Several blocks of Seabright and S. 13th Street were closed while officers investigated the discovery.
The package was eventually determined to not be a threat, and the streets were reopened. A precautionary lockdown at Grover Beach Elementary School was also lifted.
Police say this appears to be an isolated incident.

UPDATE (1:22 p.m.) - Police are opening up roads and allowing people back into their homes after securing a suspicious package found Tuesday morning on S. 13th Street.
A lockdown at Grover Beach Elementary School has also been lifted.
Police say the package was discovered on top of a car at around 10 a.m. It was determined to not be a threat; however, police believe it was placed in that spot intentionally.
They have reportedly identified a suspect and are working to track down that person.
Investigators were not releasing any additional information about the package or the suspect.

UPDATE (11:38 a.m.) - Police say they have secured a suspicious package that was found on 13th Street Tuesday morning and called in as a possible bomb threat.
The call reportedly came in at around 10 a.m.
At this time, police remain on scene assessing the package and some residents are still evacuated.
Officers are expected to remain in the area for another couple of hours.

(11:01 a.m.) - The Grover Beach Police Department is investigating a suspicious device and has closed down a couple of streets as a result of the investigation.
The 400-600 blocks of S. 13th Street as well as the 1200-1400 blocks of Seabright Ave. are closed to traffic and some residents have been evacuated.
Police say Grover Beach Elementary School is also on lockdown as a precaution; however, they say the school is located several blocks away and is not involved in the investigation.
