On Friday, Allan Hancock College hosted a teen defensive driving training at Hancock's Public Safety Training Complex in Lompoc.
Aided by the San Luis Obispo Sheriff's Office and Hancock's safety complex, teens got behind the wheel of police cars.
The program was put together to help reduce the number of teenage driving accidents due to lack of experience behind the wheel.
During the program, drivers were put through a skid test, an obstacle course, lane changing exercises and a parallel parking test.
