Teen injured in shooting in Lompoc

Lompoc police are investigating a shooting that left a teenager injured Monday night.

Police say they responded to a shooting that happened on the 700 block of North E Street at around 9 p.m. Monday.

When officers arrived they say they found a teenager who suffered a single gunshot wound.

The teen was taken to a local hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries.

The circumstances behind the shooting are unknown at this time.
