Three of Solvang's indoor museums are reopening to the public after being closed for 8 months due to the pandemic.

The Elverhoj Museum of History & Art / Rembrandt exhibit, Wildling Museum of Art & Nature and the Hans Christian Andersen Museum open on Saturday, Nov. 7.

All three museums have new safety protocols in place to adhere to county health guidelines in order to keep the public safe.

"To be able to reopen and even enhance the experience for our visitors in the interim has been really exciting and people are coming and we are hearing such good things," said Executive Director of Elverhoj Museum of History & Art, Esther Jacobsen Bates.

The Elverhoj Museum of History & Art will only be allowing 50 people in at a time. Guests must wear masks and there are hand sanitizer stations placed throughout the exhibits.

Officials with the Elverhoj Museum say the museum usually sees on average 20,000 visitors a year.
