LOMPOC, Calif. — Nearly 100 people turned out Sunday afternoon to sample local food and wine while raising money for college scholarships at La Purisima Mission State Historic Park.
The inaugural "Toasting the Future of Lompoc Students" featured offerings from local wineries and eateries as well as live music.
Proceeds from the event directly benefit the Lompoc Valley Community Scholarship fund, which provides college scholarships for students in Lompoc.
The Scholarship Foundation of Santa Barbara hosted the event.
