California Highway Patrol is responding to a crash on Highway 41 West between Morro Bay and Atascadero.
The crash happened Wednesday at around 7:40 a.m.
CALFIRE SLO and the Morro Bay Fire Department are also responding to the crash.
Firefighters say it is a single vehicle crash just East of Bear Ridge Road.
Both lanes are blocked in the area, and drivers are asked to use caution, or avoid taking this route if possible.
Firefighters say a single patient self extricated from the vehicle and was transported to a local hospital.
No other information has been provided at this time. Check back for updates.
