Paso Robles police have closed one block of Spring St. Thursday morning after a car crashed into a telephone pole.
The crash happened Wednesday night in the 900 block of Spring St., according to police.
Officers say the collision brought down power lines that are now hanging "extremely low" to the ground and making it unsafe to drive on the street.
Spring St. is closed from 9th to 10th until PG&E finishes repairing the power pole and hanging lines.
Officers say the driver was arrested for driving under the influence.
