A training burn is underway off Highway 1 in San Luis Obispo.
Shortly before 11 a.m., crews began working to burn about 10 acres of grass near the SLO Sportsman's Association north of Cuesta College.
It's expected to wrap up by 2 p.m.
CAL FIRE SLO is working with the San Luis Obispo Range Improvement Association SLO Fire Safe Council for the one-day burn.
