A local mental health non-profit is launching a new virtual art project to help people cope with the stresses of the pandemic.
Transitions-Mental Health Association in San Luis Obispo was forced to cancel its bi-annual Opening Minds Art Show that features artwork made by people with mental health needs.
Instead, locals are encouraged to enjoy the art work in a virtual, online gallery. In addition to the artwork, people can watch interviews with the artists and learn more about the program.
The Opening Minds art show that is open to the public has been postponed to May 2021.
