Two arrested on gang, firearm charges in Lompoc

Lompoc police on Sunday arrested two men on suspicion of various gang and gun-related charges.

Officers were called to the 200 block of E. College Ave. on Sunday afternoon for a report of someone with a gun.

Police say officers contacted Fernando Salazar, 22, and Angel Morgan, 18, at the scene. They say Salazar was found to be in possession of a loaded firearm.

Police say both men are documented gang members and Morgan has previously been served with the City of Lompoc Gang Injunction.

The two men were arrested on suspicion of charges that include possession of a concealed firearm in public, gang member in possession of a concealed firearm, gang injunction violation, and participation in a criminal street gang.
