Santa Barbara Police arrested two people on suspicion of robbing the Ross in Santa Barbara.

Police say they responded to reports of a robbery on December 17, 2019 at Ross on Upper State Street.

They say multiple suspects fled the scene in a getaway car when they arrived. That car was reportedly abandoned not far from the scene and police had been searching for the suspects since.

Santa Barbara Police say on February 12, detectives arrested Ahdarah Garcia-Rasay, 21, for accessory to robbery. A warrant was then issued for 19-year-old Paul Catono Murray. Police say evidence was collected and suggested Murray was the principal aggressor in the robbery. Detectives determined he had fled Santa Barbara shortly after the incident.

On May 7, Murray was arrested by law enforcement in Stockton, for his warrant in the case, as well as an additional charge for resisting arrest.

Murray was extradited to Santa Barbara and booked in Santa Barbara County Jail for robbery, committing a felony while out on bail and battery.
