One person is dead, and another was hospitalized following a two-motorcycle crash on the northbound SR-135 on-ramp to Highway 1 northbound.
Officials with the Santa Barbara Police Department say one person sustained major injuries while the second person was pronounced dead at the scene.
Both highways remain open, but drivers are advised to use an alternate route if possible due to heavy traffic and emergency responders still on scene.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
