Caltrans crews are clearing vegetation along Highway 101 near the Cuesta Grade this week.
The work began Monday and is taking place along the northbound lanes, causing one lane to be closed in the area.
Travelers heading north through San Luis Obispo can expect delays toward the bottom of the Cuesta Grade.
Crews have been on scene this week through the later afternoon.
