The South County Chambers of Commerce hosted the 15th annual Wellness Fair at the South County Regional Center in Arroyo Grande on Wednesday.
The free event focused on health, finance, leisure, fitness, personal safety, and business services for adults over the age of 50.
"This is a really safe environment for them to come and test products, meet people," said Jocelyn Brennan, South County Chambers of Commerce CEO. "There's a lot of people out there that have scams towards seniors and try to take advantage of them so this is a safe place. All of these vendors are Chamber members. They're all good standing members in the business community so this is a safe way for seniors to come find out about different services, different products, travel options, financial services, you name it, for seniors, it's here."
The fair included health screenings by Dignity Health, prizes, live music, and a blood drive by Vitalant.
