Every evening during our "We're Open Central Coast" segment, we are shining a light on the businesses that make up our community and are staying open during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Cracked Crab in Pismo Beach is still open and serving up seafood for their customers as it has for over 20 years.

The owners have limited their menu to only the community favorites to maximize the freshness of every dish.

They have also dropped their prices and are giving away needed utensils to help make enjoying their seafood a little easier.

"We are giving a stamped mallet and a sea-sheller with every order -- so every bucket gets one of those for free. We usually charge for that; we just want to make it a no-brainer to stop in and get the finest seafood available from us," General Manager Jamie Habig said.

The Cracked Crab also has social distancing markers on the floor of their restaurant to help out customers.

If you are in need of some fresh seafood, The Cracked Crab is located on 751 Price Street in Pismo Beach.

If you are one of the business owners keeping the doors open or if you know of one who is we want to hear from you. Please share your photos and stories with us at #opencentral coast or email us at open@ksby.com.
