Woman suffers major injuries after crashing near Arroyo Grande High School
First responders are on scene of a single vehicle crash near Valley Road in Arroyo Grande.
Authorities say a woman was driving at a high rate of speed when she crashed into a retainer wall near Arroyo Grande High School.
The Five Cities Fire Authority says the driver is being transported for serious injuries to the trauma center at Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center.
Fire officials say two fire fighters had to ride in the ambulance.
According to Five Cities Fire, there was only one occupant and there are no other reports of injuries.
It is unclear why she crashed.
