World War II Veteran, William Brinkmeyer, is celebrating his 95th birthday on Oct. 7.
He said the secret to living a long life was surrounding himself with good people.
The Paso Robles Fire Department and Police Department drove by for his birthday party, followed by some of his neighbors.
With years of experience, his advice to younger people is to keep things positive, not the negative.
He went on to say how grateful he is for what the world has done for him.
