The San Luis Obispo Police Department made three arrests Tuesday in connection with two vehicle burglaries.

Police received reports of the first burglary between Monday night and Tuesday morning at the Rose Garden Inn in San Luis Obispo.

Surveillance video at the Rose Garden Inn showed the three suspects breaking a window out of the victim's car.

The second burglary was reported later Tuesday morning at the Fernandez Road trailhead parking lot. The victim's purse was stolen and their credit card was used at a local business.

Using the surveillance video from the Rose Garden Inn in a search, police found the suspects and their vehicle in Pismo Beach. The three suspects — David Jimenez, Christopher Padilla, and Jasmine Hernandez — were arrested.

Jimenez and Padilla were both booked for burglary and Jimenez faces a parole violation charge as well. Hernandez was booked for an unrelated parole warrant.

The investigation is ongoing and additional charges are expected. Anyone with information on these burglaries is encouraged to call the San Luis Obispo Police Department at 805-781-7312.
