A student was injured in a shooting Thursday near an Oxnard school.
According to a Facebook post by the Oxnard School District, Oxnard police received a call at about 11:30 a.m. of a shooting that occurred off campus at McAuliffee School.
Police say a 10-year-old student at the school was struck by a stray bullet during a "car-to-car shooting."
Their injuries are said to not be life-threatening.
All other students have been accounted for, police say.
People are being asked to stay out of the area as the investigation continues.
