A day after French's announced a limited-release mustard ice cream,Oscar Mayer upped the ante by unleashing ice cream sandwiches infused with actual hot dog bits.
"Because a hot dog should chase a hot dog for dinner for dessert," the company said in a press release.
ADVERTISINGThe concoction is Oscar Mayer's way of celebrating Friday's National Ice Cream Sandwich Day.
The "Ice Dog" features candied hot dog bits, hot dog sweet cream ice cream, spicy dijon gelato and a cookie bun.

On Aug. 12, the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile will be driving around Manhattan distributing free samples of the ice dog sandwich.
