The California Highway Patrol is responding to multiple crashes along a stretch of Highway 101 northbound in Goleta.
According to CHP, the first crash was reported just after 7:30 a.m. when an overturned SUV was reported off the right shoulder near the Winchester Canyon Road off-ramp. The CHP incident page reports that SUV is blocking the number two lane. CHP officials report there are icy roads along the highway about 1/4 mile north of the overturned SUV,
In the same area, but on the southbound side of Highway 101, CHP is reporting a three-vehicle crash that happened around 7:30 a.m. and is blocking the number one lane.
It is unknown at this time if any injuries are being reported as a result of these crashes.
