California Highway Patrol is responding to two crashes on Highway 101 northbound in Santa Maria Wednesday morning.
According to CHP, the first crash happened around 6:20 a.m. near the Santa Maria Speedway. Officials say two vehicles were involved, but it's not confirmed if the crash resulted in injuries.
The second crash happened close to 6:30 a.m. on the Santa Maria River Bridge and involved three vehicles.
According to CHP, traffic is slow in the area.
