It was hot all around the Central Coast even for typically cooler places like Los Osos and Morro Bay.
The sun seemed to be working a little harder and there were higher than average temperatures.
One business owner in Morro Bay said she does not think the weather is going to pose any sort of setbacks for tourists or locals.
"I don't think it is going to be a problem at all. I think we are going to be very busy. I think the embarcadero is going to be full of excited tourists and local people," said Cindy Williams.
For others, the weather was a bit warmer than expected.
"We went to the park... Montana de Oro State Park and we went on a trail...really really really beautiful," said Marta Motta who is visiting. "The weather was so hot today."
Locals say even with the heat, the Central Coast is still the place to be.
I walked up Montana de Oro the other day... yesterday actually and it was 70 something and there were some people from Italy and they said is this normal... is it always this beautiful is what they said. And I said yes- but it's not always this hot," said Los Osos Resident Patti Tackett.
