Nipomo is celebrating the 30th anniversary of the town's public library.
Community members came together on Wednesday to mark the milestone with a party and a free barbecue lunch.
The celebration also included crafts, face painting, and seed planting.
There was a ribbon-cutting ceremony as well for a new sunshade recently installed at the library.
